Pamela R. Green Davenport, 43, formerly of Portsmouth, most recently residing in Harrisonburg, Va., died June 4, 2006, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg. She was employed with Harrisonburg public school system for more than four years. Born in Portsmouth, she was a member of Fourth Baptist Church, Portsmouth and First Baptist Church, Harrisonburg. She was a 1980 graduate of Cradock High School and a 1986 graduate of Virginia State University.

Surviving are her husband, Mark G. Davenport; daughter, Felicia G. Davenport, both of Harrisonburg; parents, Doris S. and David L. Green; sister, Gwendolyn Hardy; brother, David L. Green Jr., all of Portsmouth; special aunt, Mary Mouran; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Vallarie Blizzard.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fourth Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Charles Beamon. Viewing will begin Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The family will be at 2801 Peach St., Portsmouth.
