- Pamela Martin Stone, 58, finally made it home to her Lord on
October 25, 2014. She was born in Portsmouth, VA the daughter of the late Wilma Martin and Vernon F.
Martin, Sr. She was predeceased by her brother, Vernon F. Martin,
Jr. Pamela was a former receptionist for CJF Enterprises in Portsmouth. She was a teacher and leader of
the Ladies Bible Study group at
Temple
Baptist
Church. A member for over 30 years. She
was a past president of the Portsmouth and Suffolk Gideon's Auxiliary.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruce E. Stone;
daughter, Caitlin M. Stone; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and
Talor, Casey and Brandi, Duke and Tiffany Stone; grandchildren,
Reagan, Myah, Jackson, Jacob, Kristoni, Kennedy, Madison, Noah,
Jordyn, and Gracie; sisters, Linda Hundley, Verna Martin, and
Vannessa Smith. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 30,
2014 at 1 p.m. at
Temple
Baptist
Church,
1322 George Washington Hwy N,
Chesapeake, VA
23323 with Pastors
James P. Rushing, Jr. and Jerry Greco officiating. Burial will be
private. A time of visitation will be held prior to the service at
the church from 12:15-12:45 p.m. and on Wednesday night from 6:00 -
9:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory,
