PORTSMOUTH - Aubrey Charles Brock, American Institute of Architects, 56, passed away unexpectedly July 7, 2010 in his home. Mr. Brock, a native of Portsmouth, was the son of the late Aubrey C. Brock Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Summers Brock, formerly of Portsmouth. He was a prominent local architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is survived by his wife and daughter, Donna Brammer Brock and Taylor Elise Brock; and by a sister, Cherry Hardenberg. Friends may join the family Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High St., Portsmouth, VA 23704. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 12, in Centenary United Methodist Church, 3312 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth, VA 23703.
