George Larry Baker, 63, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was born in Portsmouth and worked at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Code 105.3.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah J. Baker; three sons, Franklin S. Baker (Tammy), Timothy K. Baker (Wendy) and Joseph A. Baker (Jessi) ; a sister, Gail Whitehurst ; two brothers, Robert Baker and Danny Baker; four grandchildren, Katelyn, Dakota, Helaina and Josie.

A memorial service will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 24, at St. Therese Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Oasis Social Ministry, 800 A Williamsburg Ave. Portsmouth, VA 23704. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
