CHESAPEAKE - Robert A. Bricker, 69, of the 4100 block of Maple Drive, died Jan. 18, 2007, in his residence. A native of Blair, Pa., he was the son of the late George E. and Minnie Root Bricker. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 43 years of loyal service.

Mr. Bricker was a member of the NRA, AARP, North American Hunt Club and served in the National Guard.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jean Bricker; a daughter, Donna J. Moring and husband Scott of Portsmouth; a son, Ronnie A. Bricker and wife Marcie and their sons Bobby and Matthew of Chesapeake; a brother, Eugene Bricker of Knotts Island, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Steve Hassell. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, VA 23513.
