Portsmouth - Harry Laurice Lee, 75, of the 500 block of Brunswick Road, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in his residence. A native of Wade, N.C., he was retired from the U.S. Army Reserves, a machinist in Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Shop 38, and D&H Auto Services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junius and Nelia Strickland Lee and a brother, Carey C. Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret S. Lee; a daughter, Diane L. Lee-Strong and husband Boyd of Suffolk; a son, Dennis H. Lee and wife Susie of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren, Brian C. Strong and Abby Lee.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, in Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery by the Rev. Neal Sasser. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assn. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
