Portsmouth - Margaret T. Wheatley, 92, of Portsmouth passed away January 23, 2013.

She was a 1937 graduate of Cradock High School, member of the Victory Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and lifelong member of Cradock United Methodist Church.

Margaret was the daughter of the late Charles and Ester Fehlhaber and the widow of Habbert E. Wheatley. She is survived by her sons Wayne Wheatley and wife Jennifer of Williamsburg, Gordon Wheatley and wife Sybil of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren Donna Sanders and husband Kevin, Becky von Meister, Patricia DuFrois and husband Hervé, Fran Wigner and husband Preston, Karen Ramsey and husband Wayne, and ten great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday at Pinecrest Baptist Church,Portsmouth, VA, where the family will receive friends the hour prior. Rev. Tom Potter will officiate. Burial will follow services in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
